Systema™

Safe Return to Port compliance

Systema™ provides a proven and comprehensive SOLAS Safe Return to Port (SRTP) compliance solution, supporting ship system design, verification, and approval, and clear evidence to Class and Flag. The software enables a comprehensive and detailed assessment on a casualty-by-casualty basis, delivering effective compliance at design and throughout the lifetime of the vessel.

SYSTEMA user Interface

At a Glance

  • 20+ vessel designs approved through DNV/GL, BV, Rina and LR.
  • Provides digitisation of system design and verification
  • Provides a verifiable and repeatable output to meet compliance requirements.
  • Delivers value throughout a vessel’s lifetime.
  • A modern alternative to traditional FMEA, designed for Industry 4.0 standards.

Systems Digital Twin

Systema™ models ship systems and their interdependencies, enabling engineers to assess the cascading impacts of individual failures across all systems. This allows critical systems to be identified, design improvements to be tested, and compliance to be verified more efficiently.

Automatic reporting provides a full set of documentation to support the Class and Flag approval process, from detailed system reports to crew manual actions for onboard documentation. These outputs ensure that all regulatory and operational documentation is current and accurate.

Lifetime Compliance

Systema™ evolves with the vessel, updating to reflect design changes, refits, and revitalisations. This ensures compliance remains intact throughout the vessel’s operational life while reducing manual workload.

The Systema™ tool enables us to perform the enhanced analysis which is necessary to achieve a comprehensive SRTP assurance in design and operation. In the past we have done desktop studies but with the adoption of Systema™ we have been able to offer a vastly improved and higher quality service to our clients.

Benefits and Features

  • IMO SOLAS SRtP Compliance: Designed to analyse ship system compliance against Safe Return to Port regulations and to provide evidence for Flag and Class approval.
  • Detailed Redundancy Analysis: Ensures overall and individual system assessments are precise and actionable.
  • Auditable Outputs: Auditable, repeatable and expandable compliance records of a vessel’s basis for Safe Return to Port compliance.
  • Simplifies Complexity: Designed for large vessels with interconnected systems, avoiding omissions common in manual FMEA approaches.
  • Comprehensive Methodology: Analyses systems exhaustively, ensuring absolute confidence in compliance and safety.
  • Crew Action Support: Automatic generation of manual actions against every regulatory casualty, directly supporting the delivery of the vessel to the owner.
  • Collaborative Engineering: Facilitates concurrent engineering, enhancing collaboration across teams.
  • Data Exchange: Integrated API to support the automatic import of data from other systems to streamline modelling process

Systema™ is not solely about the initial design and build process. It also ensures SRTP compliance throughout a vessel’s lifetime, making it an ideal tool for designers, shipyards and operators.
